Marcy Ungar is a global Chief Human Resources Officer with more than 30 years of experience advising CEOs and Boards of Directors on talent strategy, executive compensation, succession planning, and organizational performance across complex, multi-industry environments, including public companies, private equity-backed enterprises, and large nonprofit institutions.
Marcy currently serves as SVP & CHRO of Hyperion Materials & Technologies, a global organization owned by KKR, with approximately 2,500 employees, $600 million in revenue, and operations in more than 20 countries. Since 2020, the company has completed 12 global acquisitions, expanded its workforce from approximately 1,500 to 2,500 employees, and increased revenue by more than 35%.
Previously, Ms. Ungar held senior HR leadership roles at Henry Schein Animal Health (now Covetrus, NASDAQ: CVET), and at Battelle Memorial Institute. Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Compensation at Big Lots (NYSE: BIG), and held leadership roles at Columbia Gas, a subsidiary of NiSource (NYSE: NI). Marcy also served as faculty for WorldAtWork and The Ohio State University, where she taught Total Rewards for the Masters in HR Management Program.
Marcy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Xavier University.
